When I bought these they were pictured as the version that have a little support system in them. I only bought it because of that.But I'm glad they have corrected the images now and show what you'll actually receive.TBH I absolutely hate this style of stand (and intentionally didn't buy them because of that). They are simply too weak to handle the larger phones we have these days.Anyway - This does work to prop a phone up, but it will only support your phone within around 10° of vertical - (90° to a table). So if you need more than that try something else.
