Does the job… Really loud ring kinda like something out of a horror movie…I needed a basic, no frills phone to test a landlines connected to an alarm system.This did the job.It's lightweight, inexpensive plastic, so not quite the phones we remember from before smart phones, but is fine for an inexpensive way to test lines or to have a landline available for emergency calls.Ordered this phone to use when Power goes out it works as it should it is cheap made but that is to be expected for the price it was overall a good phoneIt’s all we need for a landline in our vacation home in the mountains. I do not think it would hold up for every day use.The phone looks good. The phone is lightweight with easy to read buttons. I haven’t been able to use it yet because the line that goes from the phone to the wall is very short (3’). The length to run off the table (1’) and then to the floor (2’) and over to the jack (1’) makes me have to buy a longer wire or a connector and a short wire…there goes the money I saved buying this phone.Phone has a loud ring and there does not seem to be anyway to lower it.I bought this phone to have as a spare when my power goes out and my cordless phones dont work. Perfect for my needsBroke the product open and cut the wires to the ringer to silence it! Works other than that.
