I'm not a pocket book, hagbag, girly purse fan. Never been the girly type. Just not me, but I wanted something compact for my cell, cards, etc. I got this in purple. Purple is about as girly as I get. It's the perfect size for what it for and it holds my phone, checkbook, cards, and more. I wear women's cargo pante/scrubs to work, and it fits nicely in one of the bigger pockets. It's also good quality workmanship, and holding up wonderfully, despite my ungentle treatment of it. If you want something small that holds a lot, this should work nicely for you.
