IPA cleaned the surface, wiped dry then mounted against the back of the car's LCD. left on for 24 hours before using. Height was adjusted such that the bottom of the phone rested on the dashboard therefore less stress to the adhesion.That was good for about two weeks, total use/drive time was at most 4 hours. The adhesion unstuck while parked in the garage. It's possible the cold weather, under 10degC, was a contributing factor.Three plasticky parts is a little flimsy but the magnet mount is good and held up during all the drives.
